是次展覽以「茶之形」為題,邀請香港木藝家翁泳恩及竹藝家林嘉裕,透過創作呈現對茶之形狀、形態及形式等的獨特想像。她們從茶具文物館館藏中獲得啟發,以宋代生活美學為起點,結合各自的藝術專長,透過時間、空間及品茶的再閱讀和演繹,深入探索茶文化,以及與香港生活之間的有趣連結。她們以全新視角引領觀眾穿梭古今,欣賞傳統與現代的跨界創作,並啟發觀眾與自身生活的感官互動。
Hong Kong Artist Dialogue Series: Shape of Tea

Venue: Gallery 5 to 8, 1/F, and Activity room, G/F, Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware
This exhibition, themed "Shape of Tea", invites Hong Kong wood artist Yung Wing-yan and bamboo artist Lam Ka-yu, Inkgo to present their unique imagination of the shapes, forms, and aesthetics associated with tea. Drawing inspiration from the collection of the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, they embark on a creative exploration through the day-to-day aesthetics of the Song dynasty. Integrating their personal artistic merits and by the rereading and interpretation of time, space and tea-drinking experience, they delve into tea culture and uncover its intriguing connection to daily life in Hong Kong. They offer the audience a fresh perspective on creative endeavours that traverse traditions and contemporary ideas, leading viewers through ancient and modern times to interact with the artists’ perceptions of life.
